Nar Phu Valley - 19 Days

Trip Introduction

Nar Phu Valley
Nar Phu valley trek is a trek that combines remote villages of Nar and Phu, lies in the north region of Manang. This trek will give you a chance to witness narrow gorges, beautiful forests, amazing rock formations, Yaks, Monasteries, Kang La Pass, and unique Himalayan cultures.
This exotic land is visited by very few trekkers, is still rich in medieval Tibetan culture, which was kept intact for centuries. Filled with dramatic mountain views and beautiful alpine scenery, in Tibet-like flavor also well off the beaten path, this is probably the best-known tourist area of the Annapurna Trekking Routes.
The access to this beautiful place is provided only with a purchased permit. During the winter season, these areas are completely filled with snow thus the trek and exploration are only possible during the other seasons. The two valleys of Nar and Phu are the main highlights along with the canyons, the dense deep forests, the waterfalls, suspension bridges, the two famous passes Kangla pass, and Thorong La pass and none other than the Himalayan ranges.
The trip begins on the third day from Jagat. The trails are rough, ruffed, winding yet the sceneries captivate the trekker throughout the journey. The Buddhist Monasteries, chortens, the prayer flags along the trail makes one feel like traveling through the Tibetan region. The trek also takes us to the Muktinath Temple. It is believed that a person gets salvation upon visiting the temple. The final scenic flight to Pokhara allows one to enjoy the view of the Himalayan ranges and the beautiful Pokhara valley. The last day in Pokhara can be utilized by sightseeing around the various lakes and used to rest and relax. Since the normal Annapurna Circuit has been easily accessed by motorable roads, Nar Phu Valley trek can be a good replaceable trail to enjoy the trek along the countryside of Nepal.
